Get a text the moment it actually matters
When your Verata AI receptionist hears something that sounds like an emergency — a gas smell, a carbon monoxide report — an email goes out every time. This adds a text on top of it, to a mobile number you choose.
This is optional.
You do not have to agree to text messages to buy, start, or keep using Verata AI, and nothing about the service changes if you decline. Email is the primary alert channel either way — texts are a second pair of eyes on it, not a replacement.
What you'll get
Program: Verata AI receptionist alerts, sent by Verata Group, LLC from our own registered business number.
- Urgent alerts when your Verata AI receptionist flags a possible life-safety emergency on a call or web chat to your business line — for example a gas smell or a carbon monoxide report.
We do not send marketing or promotional texts to this number, and we never text numbers from purchased, rented, or scraped lists.
How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies. Most weeks there are none — a text goes out only when your receptionist flags an emergency on your line. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping them
Reply STOP to any message and the texts stop — no email, no phone call, no waiting on us. We also honor plain-language requests like “please stop texting me.” Reply HELP, or email support@veratagroup.com, for help.
Opting out is permanent and is checked before every message we send. We do not run an automatic re-subscribe keyword — if you stop the texts and later want them back, email us and we'll turn them on again.
